   Arrogant priests become 'Tengu' after death. They live in the mountains & can be good or evil.

    General Seto is the Yokai (妖怪) of earthenware. He fights against the Karatu army.

   Tesso was a Buddhist priest, originally called Raigou. He could not achieve his wish because of warring sects. He died angry. Reborn as a rat, he ate the sutra scrolls.

The monster is Nue, with the face of a monkey, hands and feet like a tiger, and the tail of a snake.
