Tamura Yoshiyasu is a professional manga artist, painter & illustrator, born in Gunma, Japan, 1977. Since high school he has been drawing & in 2003, his first manga "Fudegami" was published in the popular monthly, Gekkan Shōnen Jump.

As a painter, he has exhibited his works at Takashi Murakami's gallery Higari Zingaro, Basel, Taipei, Los Angeles, New York & Mexico City. He also collaborated with the fashion brand, McQ: Alexander McQueen for the 2014 winter collection.
Back in the spring, I got to check out The Meeting of Styles street art festival in Pattaya, Thailand. I was surprised how many international artists this small event attracted. It was held in a derelict, 5 story nightclub w/ open elevator shafts & a giant hole in the middle of the 3rd floor.
This enter at your own risk locale was one of those "only in Thailand" situations where artists were given free reign to wander & create wherever they chose.
It's notoriously difficult to identify street artists, because of vandalism laws, although there is growing acceptance w/ the popularity of street art. If you know any of these artists please message me via Facebook or Twitter & I will add the credit.
