Issei Sagawa murdered an innocent woman and spent three days eating her flesh.
"Maybe if we'd had dinner once more, I wouldn't have eaten her."
On the afternoon of June 13, 1981, a Japanese man named Issei Sagawa walked to a park on the outskirts of Paris, carrying two suitcases. The contents of those suitcases was the dismembered body of a fellow student -- a Dutch woman named Renée Hartevelt, whom Sagawa had shot three days prior and had spent the days since eating various parts of her body.
"I put my most favorite parts, like the thigh in the fridge."

Eerie Vacant Night Streets

“Whatever it is you're seeking won't come in the form you're expecting"
- Haruki Murakami

Clearly, I’m not the only one who believes there is something magical about Japanese streets. These photographs have perfectly captured the eerie magical anticipation which emanates from the wires, architecture, graffiti, trees, crows & manhole covers.

If you’ve ever read Haruki Murakami, it’s not difficult to imagine turning a corner & being whisked into another dimension where a strange man bearing a disturbing resemblance to Colonel Sanders urgently pleas for your help with a goat man, living in a run-down love hotel, on floor where there is no floor, in a room where there is no room. It turns out, his pet cat fell down a large, well-like vortex in the corner of this no-room, in no-space...

(Sorry about not giving credit 4 tha photos - follow the pin trail to find out who took these.)

Creepy Haslem Heat Streak Quote

This is late, but I had to post it. This quote was taken in the midst of the Heat's historic 27 game win streak.
“Just touch the people. People want to be touched. Sometimes it’s going to be uncomfortable. Sometimes they might get carried away. But touch the people, the fans."
- Udonis Haslem
via Steve Aschburner for NBA.com
Haslem was trying to explain Shane Battier's inspirational speech which most of the players credit for the streak. Somehow things went horribly wrong & the quote comes off sounding super creepy.
