Reina Koyano is a designer/illustrator from Japan who has found success by imagining beautiful women dressed in fashion based on basketball shoes. Her brand, Sole Fatale creates the ultimate fantasy pinups for sneakerheads. She is currently working in the US, exhibiting her art, attending events & getting a buttload of free kicks.

I'd love to see Reina collab with an outstanding fashion designer & shoe brand to realize some of her concepts as actual wearable garments going down a runway somewhere ASAP! A Project Runway design challenge, perhaps?
Reina was part of "Dubz Against the World" by Conscious Basketball, a group exhibition of Golden State Warriors basketball art. She has also had her "Back to the Future", self-lacing, Nike "Air Mag Girl" turned into a collectible sculpture by 3D Retro.com, where you can also purchase some of her prints.
